ASCA merits during his stockdog lifetime

Shelby Anne McDaniel's Junior Partner working Stock '06 and '07

Gus broke his back leg at 4 months of age. We got him to the vets timely; they set it and it healed. The rest is history. Gus is a can-do Aussie. He'd run everyone's life if he could:) He & Steve were a perfect match and quite the characters. If you look closely in the picture at the top of the page, you'll see Steve holding one of those fake Georgia peaches. Gus kept trying to retrieve them out of the basket so Steve would play with him. Always ready to do anything and everything with his humans, Gus is quite the talking favorite. We retired him in '08 so he could go into his old age w/o the worries of injury or arthritis in that leg he broke at 4 months of age. Thus far, our resident house boy is doing just fine rounding all of up to do his bidding and obey his every wish:)
