This week (early March) she started walking into the sheep and cattle both when she accompanied me (Anne) to do chores on the ranch. She'd walk into the stock on the fenceline backing it up with a low growl or bark (she wasn't allowed in with the stock; she's too young). So, Steve tested her mid-March (see pictures above) on knee-knocking fetching sheep. She didn't bark, exhibited plenty of power, and without a doubt has a high drive to work. Steve was more than pleased:) Don't worry. Sadie won't be trained on stock until those growth plates are closed!

Sadie loves toys (any and all kinds, singing, moving, stuffed, balls, whatever), retrieving, tugging, stealing them, teasing the other dogs with them. She is very, very fast and agile, quick on her feet, turning on a dime. She loves all our dogs and plays wonderfully with them. She's great in the house and does fine in the dog barn too. She love her humans and if she wanders off too far, she comes back at a dead run for a pat and a hug, then off she goes again. She runs through the house and literally airbornes into Steve's or my lap, then runs up for a quick kiss and to be fussed over. You cannot help but love Sadie Lady:)
