ADDENDUM TO STARN BUY/SELL AGREEMENT
All terms and conditions stated in the Starn Buy/Sell Agreement are in full force and effect and incorporated herein.
This pup or dog:
__1) is being gifted to Buyer on a coownership (Deposit fee is applicable only).
If coownership is on a breeding female, Buyer and Seller shall 1) alternate pup picks on litters with Buyer getting first pick and any uneven count in the pick going to the Buyer. Pups shall be marketed on a mutually agreeable Buy/Sell contract. The kennel name of Buyer and the kennel name of Seller shall both go on any pup's registered name in an order agreed to by both coowners. Breeding terms are as spelled out in the StarN Buy/Sell Agreement.
If coownership is on a breeding male, Buyer and Seller shall split any breeding fee with Buyer getting 70% and Seller getting 30%. The breeding fee and terms shall be set forth in a mutally agreeable Stud Contract. Any bitches coming to the stud must be approved by both coowners. No bitch shall be bred until the Stud Contract is signed by all parties. Breeding terms are as spelled out in the StarN Buy/Sell Agreement.
At the time the pup turns eight weeks of age, Coowner shall pay Seller $50, the remaining one-half of the puppy deposit.
Seller is not responsible for the following expenses: entry fees, health clearances (other than the puppy eye clearance), food, well care, transport, advertising and housing. Housing of the pup will be with the Buyer, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon by Seller and Buyer.
ADDITIONAL COOWNERSHIP TERMS: Any pup coowned may not be sold or placed with any other party without both the coowners' permission to do so. If Buyer wishes to no longer coown, Seller may purchase Buyer's ownership for an agreed-upon price. If Seller wishes to no longer coown, Buyer may purchase Seller's ownership for an agreed-upon price. Should Buyer die, Buyer's ownership shall revert totally to Seller. Should Seller die, Seller's ownership shall revert totally to Buyer. When the pup is with Buyer, Buyer shall assume all legal and financial responsibilities. When the pup is with the Seller, Seller shall assume all legal and financial responsibilities.
_2) is subject to coownership while monthly payments are being made and until the total purchase price is paid in full. The Promissory Note is applicable and in full force and effect when signed by the Buyer.
PROMISSORY NOTE: For the valuable consideration of $__________________, the pup more particularly described in the Starn Buy/Sell Contract is sold on the following terms and conditions. Buyer will remit a deposit of $100 at the time the litter is born, and later a downpayment of $_______ when the litter turns 8 weeks of age, and follow with monthly payments of $_____________ to be due and payable on the ___ day of each month beginning _____________ and to continue until the entire purchase price is paid in full. If the Buyer is 10 days on late any payment, a penalty fee of $25.00 will be due from Buyer to Seller. If Buyer is 30 days past due, Buyer forfeits all rights to the pup and the pup must be returned at Buyer's total expense upon demand from the Seller. The terms of this Promissory Note are in full force and effect on all Seller's or Buyer's assigns or heirs. Seller will not be required to register the pup in Buyer's name until the purchase price has been paid in full. Pup will be registered in Seller's name until the entire purchase price is paid in full. Buyer is legally and financially responsible for the pup while the pup is in Buyer's care. Should the pup become ill, be stolen, run away, or die, the Buyer is not released from the terms of this Promissory Note until the purchase price is paid in full. Seller will use any and all legal means available at Buyer's expense to collect should Buyer be in default.

3) Additional Terms:
Breach of this Addendum to the StarN Buy/Sell Agreement shall be brought in the county and state of Seller.
All terms of this Addendum are in full force and effect when signed by both Buyer and Seller below and these terms shall remain in full force and effect with any heirs or assigns of Buyer or Seller.
